Low Cut Connie, Mannequin Pussy, Ron Gallo and Screaming Females are among the acts on the 2022 Philly Music Fest lineup. The multi-venue, six-night event strictly featuring artists who call Philadelphia home will be held from October 10 – 15.
Philly Music Fest is presented by a non-profit organization founded by Philadelphia husband and wife team, Greg and Jenn Seltzer. World Café Live, Johnny Brenda’s, Ardmore Music Hall, Milkboy, REC Philly and Underground Arts will each host concerts as part of the sixth annual event. Shamir, Empath, Saleka, Electric Candlelight, Lady HD, Kayleigh Goldsworthy, Ghosh, Echo Kid, Max Swan, Stereo League, Marielle Kraft, Riverby, The Ire, Justmadnice and Perpetual Motion will also perform during Philly Music Fest 2022. Additionally, a “to be announced” surprise national headliner will take part in the event.
Proceeds will go towards local music education and artists in need with $275K donated by PMF since the event’s start. “It’s really cool to see how Philly Music Fest has grown,” noted Low Cut Connie frontman Adam Weiner. “They are doing great work and I hope it continues. Music education gives kids a lifeline that they can cling to throughout their lives, and I am very happy to be participating in this festival and echo its mission.”
“Each year, Philly Music Fest presents a diverse lineup of artists from across the Philadelphia-region, mining and purposefully mixing genres such as Rock, Punk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Folk and Pop,” added Greg Seltzer.
