Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band postponed the rest of their June tour dates due to members testing positive for COVID-19. While specific dates haven’t been announced as of yet, Ringo and his band plan to reschedule the postponed concerts for September.

Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band kicked off their North American tour on May 27. On June 7, about halfway through the tour, Ringo told fans at the Beacon Theatre in New York City that Edgar Winter had tested positive for COVID-19 but that the band planned to play on.

But with Steve Lukather also testing positive recently, the band has decided to reschedule the remainder of their June dates, which include Providence, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Florida dates among others. Ringo and company plan to move the shows to early September ahead of their fall run.

Read a note from Ringo below:

We are so sorry to let the fans down. It’s been wonderful to be back out on the road and we have been having such a great time playing for you all. But as we all know, Covid is still here and despite being careful these things happen. I want to thank the fans for their patience, I send you all peace and love, and we can’t wait to be back in the Fall.
