Melbourne quartet Slowly Slowly will travel off the beaten track for an extensive run of regional shows from August to October 2022. The emo-tinged pop rock band released its latest single ‘Forget You‘ in May.

Slowly Slowly is made up of vocalist and guitarist Ben Stewart, guitarist Albert Doan, bass player Alex Quale and drummer Patrick Murphy. After releasing the single ‘Nothing On’ in early 2022, the band carried out a run of headline dates in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

The upcoming regional tour kicks off on the Gold Coast in early August and travels across Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, the NT and ACT. “We want to see some new parts of Australia and return to some of our favourite spots,” said Stewart. “Some of our fondest memories are in these towns. It’s been a while between drinks and we are stoked to be back on the road again.”

The show on Friday, 16th September at Ev’s Youth Centre in Croydon, Victoria, will be an especially nostalgic one for Stewart. “Croydon is where I grew up and we’ll be playing at the venue where I played my first ever show at age 15,” he said. “That was why we insisted it go on the tour.”
