Big Something has announced the return of The Big What?, the band’s annual Summer music festival and campout, which will take place August 4th–6th, 2022 at Pops Farm in Martinsville, VA after a two-year hiatus.
The festival was held in North Carolina in previous years, but this year the event will move across state lines to one of Virginia’s most pristine outdoor music venues, Pops Farm, which is also home to Rooster Walk Music Festival.
“We are so excited to reunite with the ‘what-fam’ for a new adventure together at Pops Farm,” Nick MacDaniels of Big Something shared. “This is going to be a unique creative experience for the band and our community and we are very grateful to have both Pops Farm and Rooster Walk supporting our vision. We’ve got a lot of fun ideas in mind already and can’t wait to bring The Big What? back to life in this beautiful new space.”
Founded in 2012, The Big What? is a three-day celebration of music and art curated by Big Something, Possum Holler Productions, and Life Is Art Studios. With support from members of the Rooster Walk organization, the same core team of organizers has lined up a diverse set of musicians, artists, and activities for this year’s event, including six sets from Big Something, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Butcher Brown, lespecial, Kanika Moore, Daily Bread (late night), Maggie Rose, Cris Jacobs, Kendall Street Company, The Mantras, two sets from Sexbruise? and more. Kanika Moore will serve as artist at large, sitting in with different artists throughout the weekend.
Tickets for The BIG What? are on sale now. View the complete artist lineup below, and to find more information and purchase tickets, visit the festival website.
