Todd Snider will hit the road in September and October 2022 on the aptly named American Troubadour Tour. The monthslong run of over three-dozen concerts will carry the Peace Queer from coast to coast throughout fall.
The new stretch of dates commences on September 7th at Harvester Performance Center in Rocky Mount, VA. Beginning on the East Coast, Snider will make his way westward and back again. Following West Coast stops at Denver’s Paramount Theatre (9/29), Portland’s Revolution Hall (10/6) outside his hometown of Beaverton, San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall (10/14), and many more, Snider will return east. The first leg of the American Troubadour Tour culminates on Halloween night at Jamf Theatre in Eau Claire, WI. Snider called the upcoming run the continuation of his “second tour – because I went out on the road in ’94 and never went home until the pandemic.”

Joining Todd throughout the tour are an array of openers including Ray Wylie Hubbard for four shows across California, Nevada, and Utah in late October; Nicki Bluhm in Denver, Missoula, and Bozeman; Lilly Winwood for shows from September 7th through 18th; and Ryan Montbleau from October 3rd through 19th.
The American Troubadour Tour will coincide with the release of Live: The Return of the Storyteller. The follow-up to Snider’s acclaimed 2011 The Storyteller live album was recorded on his first run of shows after re-emerging from COVID-induced lockdown. Last year saw the release of Snider’s part concept album part homage to fatback music, First Agnostic Church of Hope and Wonder.
