Tank and the Bangas followed their hometown set at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival last month by heading to New York City for appearances on multiple SiriusXM channels. The group’s “No ID” performance for Volume has been shared on SiriusXM’s YouTube and can be viewed below.
“No ID” is the lead single from Tank & The Bangas’ recently released studio album, Red Balloon. “The song represents a version of self love that…can become quite lost in today,” the band told Consequence. “Sure it has a catchy beat and hopeful it makes you want to find your skates, but ultimately it’s about a background check before you welcome somebody into your life.”
