Wilco Shares ‘Kamera’ Outtake From ‘Yankee Hotel Foxtrot’ Box Set

Wilco released a previously unheard alternate version of “Kamera” from the sessions that yielded their famed 2002 studio album, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. The track appears on special Yankee Hotel Foxtrot deluxe reissues due out through Nonesuch on September 16.

“Kamera (The Unified Theory Of Everything Version)” has a more aggressive feel both vocally and instrumentally than the version that wound up on Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. The track is one of 13 featured as part of The Unified Theory Of Everything: Building Yankee Hotel Foxtrot collection included on the Super Deluxe LP and CD sets as well as the Deluxe LP and digital sets.

Seven versions of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot are coming in September. The Super Deluxe edition features 11 vinyl LPs and a single CD including demos, drafts and instrumentals displaying how the album was made as well as a concert recording from 2002 and September 2001 radio session and interview. The box set also contains a remastered version of the original album along with a book featuring interviews with frontman Jeff Tweedy, drummer Glenn Kotche and engineer Jim O’Rourke.
