Grateful Dead/Dead & Company guitarist Bob Weir will bring Bob Weir and Wolf Bros back on the road this fall. The newly confirmed tour dates run from September 30 until December 5 and include concerts on both coasts and a few cities in between.
Bob Weir, bassist Don Was, drummer Jay Lane and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti will be joined by The Wolfpack string and horn section as well as special guest pedal steel guitarist Barry Sless for the duration of the excursion. The trek includes four previously postponed concerts with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington D.C.
After a previously announced special benefit trio performance in Sisters, Oregon on September 10, the ensemble starts the tour in Connecticut with shows in Waterbury on September 30 and New Haven on October 1. Next come the concerts with the NSO in Washington D.C. on October 5, 6, 8 and 9.
Bob Weir And Wolf Bros head to California following a few days off for a three-night stand at The Warfield in San Francisco on October 14 – 16 to celebrate the guitarist’s 75th birthday. From there, the group hits Reno, Nevada on October 19 before two nights in Eugene, Oregon on October 21 and 22 as well as a stop in Seattle on October 23. It’s then back to California for shows in Los Angeles on October 25 and San Diego on October 26. Additional performances follow in Las Vegas (October 28 and 29), Phoenix (October 30), Salt Lake City (November 1) and Denver (November 4 and 5).
