Dave Matthews Band will release audio featuring their August 20, 1995 concert in Cincinnati as Live Trax Vol. 60. The next installment in the group’s long-running live archival series is available for pre-order now and arrives on August 12.
Summer 1995 saw the classic lineup of Dave Matthews, Boyd Tinsley, Carter Beauford, LeRoi Moore and Stefan Lessard adapt to amphitheaters after the the breakthrough success of Under The Table And Dreaming. However, the tour also featured a few intimate concerts including the show at Cincinnati Music Hall featured on Live Trax Vol. 60.
Dionne Farris opened for DMB that summer and the quintet recruited her guitarist, David Ryan Harris, to guest on “Rhyme & Reason” and “Jimi Thing” towards the middle of the set in Cincinnati. The evening also saw Dave go solo for an early version of “Raven” encompassing “Little Thing” teases. Additionally, DMB dusted off “Halloween” for the first time in 61 shows to end the concert.
