Dopapod and TAUK will get spooky at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom with the two-night Oogie Boogie. Set for October 28th and 29th at the Denver, CO, the two bands will co-headline the event with support from Moon Hooch, TAUK, DJ Logic, and more.
The party starts on Friday, October 28th with a headlining set from TAUK with special guest Kanika Moore. The instrumental quartet recently staged a pair of special shows at the famed Blue Note jazz club in New York featuring the Doom Flamingo vocalist on June 20th. In TAUK’s social media announcement of the show, the group noted that there is “Moore to come soon.”
Also playing Oogie Boogie on the 28th are Dopapod, Moon Hooch, Denver’s own TMRW PPL, and DJ Logic. On Saturday, Dopapod will take its turn headlining Oogie Boogie in addition to sets from TAUK, Denver locals Cycles, a special DJ Logic & Friends set with special guests to be announced, and DJ Parrisian.
Tickets for the inaugural Oogie Boogie with Dopapod and TAUK at Cervantes’ go on sale on Friday at noon MT. This announcement comes two days after Dopapod revealed a 2022 fall tour set to run from October through November and carry the palindrome-loving prog rockers across the U.S. For tickets and a full breakdown of dates head here.
