Marco Benevento has announced a string of West Coast tour dates due to take place this October. The 11 shows will also feature special guest William Tyler.
Fresh off the release of his new solo album Benevento, on which he plays every instrument, Marco Benevento will perform a whirlwind 11 shows in 13 days with a band featuring regular touring bassist Karina Rykman as well as drummer Chris Corsico, who fans may recognize from Rykman’s solo trio.
The tour will kick off at Pappy & Harriett’s in Pioneertown, CA on October 11th before moving on to San Diego, CA’s Casbah on the 12th. Another four shows in California will follow at Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles on the 13th; Felton Music Hall in Felton on the 14th; The Chapel in San Francisco on the 15th; and Sebastiani Theatre in Sonoma on the 16th, respectively.
The renowned keyboardist, who also tours with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, will then take just two days off (his only break of the tour) before shooting up the coast to Oregon for shows at Sessions Music Hall in Eugene on the 19th, Volcanic in Bend on the 20th, and two nights at Doug Fir in Portland on the 21st and 22nd. Finally, the tour will wrap up at Madame Lou’s in Seattle, WA on the 23rd.
