Pigeons Playing Ping Pong laid out plans for their 2022 Fall Tour dates. The seven-show run includes hometown concerts in Baltimore, Halloween weekend performances and a pair of December gigs.
The quartet kick off the fall with three shows in Baltimore. Pigeons will gather The Flock at The 8×10 on September 29 and 30, marking their 48th and 49th performances at the intimate venue. Additionally, Baltimore’s Union Craft Brewing will host the band’s annual Flocktoberfest event on October 1. The show will be PPPP’s first on the brewery’s outdoor stage.
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong start Halloween weekend in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania on October 28 and then will perform in New Haven, Connecticut on October 29. No word yet on this year’s theme. Finally, the foursome returns to the Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, Virginia for the first time since 2019 on December 2 and 3. Yam Yam opens on December 2 with Dogs In A Pile as support of December 3.
“The return of live music has been nothing short of amazing,” explained PPPP’s Greg Ormont in a statement. “The crowd’s energy has been through the roof all summer, and our gratitude has never been greater. As we approach 15 years as a band, we wanted to throw it back to our roots and return to our old stomping grounds, The 8×10 in Baltimore. We’ve had so many amazing memories there, from our earliest themed shows, to our first New Year’s Eve celebrations. There’s simply no better place for us to celebrate this amazing journey and charge up for the future.”
