Comedy Central has announced that it will air the South Park 25th-anniversary concerts on August 13th, the day the show first premiered in 1997. The concerts are set for August 9th and 10th at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, featuring performances from Primus, Ween, and South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
Highlights from the two-night stand at the famed Morrison, CO venue will air at 10 p.m. ET—the same moment the pilot, “Cartman Gets An Anal Probe”, aired in 1997—and will be available to stream on Paramount+ the following day.

Comedy Central has also announced a traveling South Park: The 25th Anniversary Experience exhibit with never-before-seen scripts, memorabilia from the show’s archive, rare collectibles, and more. The exhibit, which is separate from the concerts, will appear at New York City’s Union Square (7/23), Chicago’s Navy Pier (7/30), the Red Rocks Trading Post (8/9–8/10), Denver’s McGregor Square (8/12–8/13), and at Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles (8/20) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time, with the Red Rocks hours to be determined.
The exhibit will contain a trove of items from the South Park archives all housed in a shipping container adorned with a custom Eric Cartman paint job. In addition to the traveling exhibit, the Red Rocks Trading Post stop will also feature a tailgate experience during the concerts featuring brand activations, games, cosplay contests, and more.

South Park was renewed last year through 2027, which will take cable’s longest-running scripted series to its 30th season. Maybe for those anniversary shows they will book MOOP.
