Spafford will hit the road this fall for a lengthy run of tour dates, the quartet announced on Tuesday. Set to carry the band from September through November, the crop of over two dozen concerts focuses heavily on the western United States.
The tour kicks off in the Northeast with a previously-announced set at Borderland Music & Arts Festival in East Aurora, NY (9/18), where Spafford will share the bill with headliners Portugal. The Man, The Flaming Lips, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Infamous Stringdusters, and more. Following shows in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, Spafford wraps its Northeast run with a show supporting Lotus at Marty’s Driving Range in Mason, NH (9/24).
The bulk of the tour picks up on October 13th when Spafford lands in Salt Lake City, UT. The band will traverse the western U.S. with shows in Idaho, Montana, Washington, and Oregon, with the tour’s lone two-night run taking place at The Get Down in Portland (10/21, 10/22). Spafford will spend the run-up to Halloween in Crystal Bay, NV (10/27); Santa Cruz, CA (10/28); and San Francisco, CA (10/29) before a trio of shows in Colorado with stops in Boulder (11/3), Fort Collins (11/4), and Denver (11/5).
The final leg of the tour sends Spafford down south, beginning with a trio of Texas concerts in Austin (11/10), Houston (11/11), and Dallas (11/12) ahead of a stop at New Orleans’ famous Tipitina’s (11/13). Spafford then concludes its fall tour with a run through the Sunshine State with shows in Pensacola (11/15), Gainesville (11/16), Tampa (11/17), Ft. Lauderdale (11/18), and finally Leesburg (11/19).
