Drummer Antonio Sánchez shared a music video for an updated version of Dave Matthews’ “Eh Hee.” For “Eh Hee 2.0,” Sanchez teamed up with Dave and longtime collaborator guitarist Pat Metheny.
Dave Matthews unveiled “Eh Hee” during a late night show on his Dave And Friends Cruise — with Trey Anastasio, Tim Reynolds and others — on February 5, 2006. Dave would play it solo later that year and with Reynolds in Spring 2007. Dave Matthews Band debuted “Eh Hee” on August 18, 2007 making it one of only six songs to be performed by DMB, Dave & Tim, Dave & Friends and Dave solo, as per DMB Almanac. “Eh Hee” was last performed by Dave & Tim at their Riviera Maya destination event in early 2017.
The tune now sees a resurgence with Sánchez’s “Eh Hee 2.0,” appearing on the drummer’s new album, Shift (Bad Hombre Vol. II). The track features Dave on vocals and Metheny on guitar. Shift (Bad Hombre Vol. II) arrived this past Friday, August 26.

I honestly never thought that a musician like him would ever be born. He’s a dream…one of the greatest musicians I have ever seen.”
