Chris Forsyth released a new single, “Bad Moon Risen.” The song will appear on the Philadelphia guitarist’s upcoming album, Evolution Here We Come, due out on August 26 via No Quarter.
Forsyth detailed Evolution Here We Come in July and shared the eight-minute opening track “Experimental & Professional.” Co-produced with Darkside’s Dave Harrington, Chris assembled an all-star band for Evolution Here We Come including a core group of bassist Doug McCombs (Tortoise), drummer Ryan Jewell (Ryley Walker) and guitarist Tom Malach (Garcia Peoples). Bill Nace (Body/Head), Steve Wynn (The Dream Syndicate), Linda Pitmon (Baseball Project), Marshall Allen (Sun Ra Arkestra) and Nick Millevoi also contributed.
