Greensky Bluegrass announced Cris Jacobs Band will open the first night of their upcoming New Year’s Run at The Tabernacle in Atlanta on December 30. Additionally, the jamgrass quintet confirmed Cris Jacobs and Dusty Ray Simmons will guest for a special third set at The Tabernacle on New Year’s Eve (December 31).

Cris Jacobs has often shared the stage with Greensky Bluegrass. Jacobs’ most recent GSBG guest spot took place at the High Sierra Music Festival earlier this summer. The singer-songwriter/guitarist also filled in for Anders Beck at two shows in April. Cris Jacobs Band drummer Dusty Ray Simmons has performed with Greensky on a handful of occasions over the years and took part in side projects with members of the band.
Greensky Bluegrass returns to the road with an appearance at Moon River Festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee on September 10. The five-piece then heads to Colorado for two-night stands at Dillon Amphitheater and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Scroll below for a full list of dates.
