Hangtown Music Festival’s 2022 lineup has been expanded with acts including Beats Antique, The Floozies and Molly Tuttle, among others. The last installment of the event produced by the High Sierra Music team will take place at Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, California on October 20 – 23.
Marty O’Reilly & The Old Soul Orchestra, Boot Juice, Lowdown Brass Band, Ashleigh Flynn & The Riveters, The Sweet Lillies, Broken Compass and Master Of Ceremonies Joe Craven round out the new additions to this year’s lineup. Hosted by Railroad Earth (three nights), the 2022 Hangtown Music Festival will also feature sets from Yonder Mountain String Band, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe A Diesel Insane: The Music of David Bowie (KDTU late night), The Mother Hips, Brothers Comatose, Polyrhythmics, Ryan Montbleau Band, Ordinary Elephant, AJ Lee & Blue Summit and Sway Wild.
This October’s festival will be the first held in Grass Valley following a decade in Placerville, California. While the Hangtown name will be retired after 2022, the event will continue with a new moniker in 2023. Offerings besides the music include Halloween costume themes, craft beer, wine, artisanal cuisine, an arts and craft fair, pumpkin carving and yoga. Additionally, the festival’s The KidZone will provide a safe and enchanting space for children and their parents to have fun and participate in creative activities.
