Joe Walsh will reunite for a set featuring special guest Dave Grohl at VetsAid 2022. The benefit concert will take place at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on November 13. Purchase VetsAid 2022 tickets this Friday, August 5 at 10 a.m. ET on Ticketmaster.
The VetsAid 2022 lineup is rounded out by Nine Inch Nails, The Black Keys and The Breeders. Walsh put together the show to raise funds for his VetsAid national 501(c)3 non-profit veterans organization.
James Gang — consisting of Walsh, Jimmy Fox and Dale Peters — will perform together for the final time or “One Last Ride.” Cleveland’s Drew Carey will host VetsAid 2022 with all artists having strong ties to Ohio.
“It all started in Ohio,” noted Walsh in a press release. “Picking up my first guitar as a kid in Columbus set me on a musical journey to Kent State, Cleveland and then the world. It is a great privilege for me to share the stage once again with my original James Gang buddies and this incredible group of Ohio rock legends like Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails, The Black Keys, The Breeders and Dave Grohl. I believe in Ohio and look forward to celebrating our musical legacy while honoring our veterans with VetsAid 2022.”
