Little Feat extended their Waiting For Columbus 45th Anniversary Tour by announcing four additional shows in December. The newly confirmed tour dates will take place on the West Coast and in Wyoming featuring support from Nicki Bluhm.
Launched back in March, the band has performed their legendary 1978 live album, Waiting For Columbus, in its entirety at each stop. The classic rockers’ current lineup of longtime members keyboardist Bill Payne, percussionist Sam Clayton, bassist Kenny Gradney and guitarist Fred Tackett along with drummer Tony Leone and guitarist Scott Sharrard have brought the celebratory trek to many cities across the United States over the past five months and resume the headlining portion of the tour this fall after a few festival appearances.
Little Feat’s first new addition to the excursion is a concert to be held at City National Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, California on December 9. The group then will play the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz, California on December 10 before a show in Eugene, Oregon on December 12. A gig in Jackson, Wyoming on December 16 was also confirmed today.
