My Morning Jacket will present a special Halloween concert in their hometown of Louisville on Saturday, October 29. The Halloween Costume Ball And Celebration will take place at Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center with Producing a Kind Generation and Louisville Leopards Percussionists.
My Morning Jacket was previously slated to play a pair of hometown shows on June 24 and 25 that were canceled after frontman Jim James tested positive for COVID-19. Those who purchased tickets for the June concerts in Louisville will receive an email from Production Simple with instructions to participate in a first access presale for tickets to the October performance. “This email may come in throughout the day today, so please be patient while waiting for its arrival,” noted MMJ in social posts.
The band advised fans to “come dressed in your favorite costume to dance the night away” in an announcement of the Halloween Costume Ball And Celebration. My Morning Jacket will donate a portion of tickets sales to Change Today Change Tomorrow.
Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, August 12 at 10 a.m. ET. Score tickets for My Morning Jacket in Louisville through Ticketmaster.
