45

Resonance Music & Arts Festival 2022 has been canceled. According to the announcement, Resonance will return to Ohio for a final event scheduled for 2023.

Resonance Music & Arts Festival 2022 was set to take place September 15 – 17 with performances by Goose, Umphrey’s McGee, Lotus and hosts Papadosio, among others. The 2022 edition was set to be the first Resonance held at Woodlands Nature Reserve in Charleston, South Carolina. Festival organizers stated that local Dorchester County officials “indefinitely suspended all music based events at The Woodlands Nature Reserve,” which forced the cancellation of Resonance 2022.

Resonance has been staged at several sites since the event moved from its original home from 2014 through 2018 at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio. The festival took place in 2019 at Cooper’s Lake in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania and moved to Masontown, West Virginia’s Marvin’s Mountaintop in 2021. After efforts to find a replacement location failed, the decision was made to cancel Resonance 2022 and find a new spot for 2023.

Resonance Music & Arts Festival 2023 – “The Last Dance” – will be held June 29 – July 1, 2023. Returning to Ohio, the festival will be held at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville. Refunds are available for those with Resonance 2022 tickets, with VIP and other upgrades available for those roll their tickets over to 2023.
