A century of accomplishment in the auto world—in any field, really—only calls for the best of the best in terms of celebrations, and who better for Lincoln to team up with than accomplished lifestyle brand Shinola? The two companies teamed up on a luxury SUV last year, and they’re back with two handsome new Shinola watches to mark 100 years of Lincoln.
Shinola has stayed plenty busy, introducing watches inspired by sailing and travel-ready timepieces in recent months, but the two new Lincoln x Shinola timepieces just might be the coolest endeavor yet.
The two new watches update popular Shinola models with some visually appealing design features, including the ever-so-slightly rugged yet uniquely refined Shinola Runwell Sport Chronograph.
A Lincoln-branded seconds sub-eye is immediately eye-catching, as is the bold 48mm case diameter. The rose gold bezel plays nicely off black and rose gold detailing on the dial itself, a design element that nods to last year’s Shinola x Lincoln luxury SUV.
The collaborative touches carry over from there with the inclusion of the Lincoln logo on the case back at 6 o’clock, along with the Lincoln logo stamp on the tip of the leather watch strap.
For $1,100, it’s a finely crafted timepiece sure to turn heads (as any well-made, well-appointed Lincoln SUV tends to do, as well).
The partnership gets even cooler and more stylish from there, if you can believe it, and it all comes down to another Shinola classic: The Shinola Runwell Automatic, designed with subtle and stylish Lincoln-centric details.
Those details include another custom Lincoln-branded seconds sub-eye, plus the Lincoln logo stamping on the tip of the refined black leather strap.
The Runwell Automatic clocks in at a more wearable 39.5mm in terms of case diameter, and will set you back just a shade more than the other Lincoln x Shinola collaborative timepieces (the Runwell Automatic retails for $1,300).
If you want to make either timepiece your own, visit the Lincoln Collection to pre-order one—or both—or redeem Lincoln Access Rewards. Either watch is a fitting tribute that blends the best of 100 years of design with modern details.
