Sound Summit detailed its 2022 lineup featuring headlining act The War On Drugs. The one-day music festival will be held at the scenic Mountain Theater atop Mount Tamalpais State Park in Mill Valley, California on October 22.
Faye Webster, Fruit Bats and Wreckless Strangers round out the 2022 Sound Summit lineup. The event is presented each year by Roots & Branches Conservancy to raise funds for the upkeep of Mount Tam. Roots & Branches Conservancy is a San Francisco Bay Area-based non-profit organization with a wide mission that includes regional environmental and education work devoted to the conversation of natural resources and the evolution of the area’s artistic and cultural traditions.
First held in 2015, the event returned each year except 2020 due to the pandemic. Over $250,000 has been raised for Mount Tam since Sound Summit was founded.
Tickets for the festival go on sale this Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m. PT. Buy Sound Summit 2022 tickets on TIXR.com. Summit Parking, limited to 250 spaces and located a short shuttle ride from the venue, as well as round trip bus passes leaving out of dedicated lots in Mill Valley will also be available.
