Amanda Shires unveiled video of a live “Hawk For The Dove” performance filmed at Nashville’s historic Columbia Studio A. Brittney Spencer provides backing vocals on the lead single from Shires recently released studio album, Take It Like A Man.
Take It Like A Man arrived July 29 on ATO Records. Produced by Lawrence Rothman, the 10-track LP was recorded at the historic RCA Studio B in Nashville. Amanda’s husband, guitarist Jason Isbell and Brittney Spencer each contributed to multiple songs on the album including “Hawk For The Dove.” Maren Morris and Natalie Hemby also provide guest vocals.
The “Hawk For The Dove” live performance video was directed by Weston Heflin. Shires was backed by Spencer, Isbell, bassist Jimbo Hart, drummer Julian Dorio and keyboardist Peter Levin.
