Yes announced details of tour dates for a fall run through the U.S. celebrating the 50th anniversary of their iconic 1972 album Close To The Edge. The trek marks the Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers’ first U.S. outing since 2019 and spans October 7 through November 19.
Part of the band’s “The Album Series Tour 2022,” Yes dedicates this year’s shows to the late Alan White. Longtime Yes drummer Alan White died this past May. The current Yes lineup features Jay Schellen on drums along with lead vocalist Jon Davison, guitarist Steve Howe, keyboardist Geoff Downes and bassist Billy Sherwood.
Yes kicks off the tour with a pair of concerts at Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania on October 7 and 8. It’s then down to Florida via New Brunswick, New Jersey and Nashville for shows in Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Melbourne and Clearwater. Additional October dates follow in New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio, Tucson, El Cajon (California), Riverside (California), Wheatland (California) and Seattle.
The legendary prog-rock act starts November with a show at The Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri on the 4th. A focus on the Midwest includes November concerts in Nashville (Indiana), Cincinnati, Madison, Wabash (Indiana) and Gary (Indiana). Yes hits Washington D.C. on November 13 before a swing through Connecticut for shows in Stamford on November 14 and Torrington on November 15. The tour concludes with stops in Englewood, New Jersey on November 17; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on November 18 and Westbury, New York on November 19.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 2.
