Antibalas will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a pair of concerts in Portland, Maine. The renowned Afrobeat band will play shows at Bayside Bowl on December 30 and 31.

2022 has been the first year since the 1990s Antibalas has toured without Duke Amayo. The British-born vocalist and percussionist parted ways with Antibalas in November of 2021 after a 23-year stint.
Antibalas heads to California this fall for an appearance at San Francisco’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival and a show at Mill Valley’s Sweetwater Music Hall. The band then plays a two-night stand in their hometown at Brooklyn Bowl on November 11 and 12.
