King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard Announce 3 New Albums

63

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will release three new studio albums in October. The prolific Australian rock band announced the news via a post on social media confirming the LPs will be available for pre-order next week.

The group has yet to reveal the titles or cover art for each album. King Gizz’s post about the three new records shows band members Michael Cavanaugh, Stu Mackenzie and Kenny Ambrose-Smith each holding vinyl albums with the artwork blurred out. Look for the pre-orders to go live via the band’s Gizzverse online store on Wednesday, September 7 at 8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard previously tweeted “3 more albums this year” back in June. The new albums come on the heels of two previous 2022 studio albums as Omnium Gatherum arrived in April and Made In Timeland came out in March. The former was the band’s first double album and the second was a vinyl-only release. Additionally, King Gizz dropped the remix album Butterfly 3001 in January based on 2021’s Butterfly 3000.
