Modest Mouse will honor the 25th anniversary of their 1997 studio album, The Lonesome Crowded West, with a series of fall tour dates across North America. The trek spans November 18 through December 17.
The Lonesome Crowded West was Modest Mouse’s second studio album. Original members Isaac Brock and Jeremiah Green will hit the road for the celebratory excursion with Russell Higbee and Simon O’Connor.
Modest Mouse kicks off the tour with a concert at Wilma Theater in Missoula, Montana on November 18. A swing through Washington state follows featuring stops in Spokane (November 19) and Seattle (November 21 and 22). The band then hits Portland, Oregon (November 25) and Vancouver (November 27).
Next up is a run down the California coast that includes concerts in Oakland (November 30), Los Angeles (December 1) and San Diego (December 2). Modest Mouse then brings the trek to Phoenix (December 3), Austin (December 5), New Orleans (December 6) and Dallas (December 7) ahead of Midwest dates in Chicago (December 9), St. Paul (December 10) and Madison (December 11). The band ends the tour with stops in Washington D.C. (December 13), Philadelphia (December 15), Boston (December 16) and New York City (December 17).
Pre-sale tickets and VIP packages will be available tomorrow (Wednesday, September 7) at 10 a.m. local venue times. A special edition The Lonesome Crowded West vinyl can be purchased through the presale or on tour. Tickets then go on sale to the general public this Friday, September 9 at 10 a.m. local time.
