Tedeschi Trucks Band will return to Boston, MA and Nashville, TN in the coming months, the 12-piece announced on Thursday.
The Derek Trucks– and Susan Tedeschi-led outfit will once again round out its 2022 touring calendar at Boston, MA’s Orpheum Theatre with four concerts taking place on Tuesday, November 29th, Wednesday, November 30th, Friday, December 2nd, and Saturday, December 3rd, respectively.
In February 2023, Tedeschi Truck Band will head back to Nashville, TN’s famed Ryman Auditorium for performances on Thursday, February 23rd (featuring Amy Ray), Friday, February 24th, and Saturday, February 25th.
Swamp Family Fan Club pre-sale for the newly announced shows begins on Tuesday, September 20th at noon local time (check member portal for code). Swamp Family Fan Club members can also enter a lottery for guaranteed tickets in the first five rows. Artist pre-sale starts on Wednesday, September 21st at 10 a.m. local time (Boston code: TbsTN320 / Nashville code: TbNSH45). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 23rd at 10 a.m. local time.

Next up on Tedeschi Trucks Band’s schedule is the group’s annual residency at New York’s Beacon Theatre. The extended stay will kick off with three straight nights on Thursday, September 29th, Friday, September 30th, and Saturday, October 1st, respectively. After a day of rest on Sunday, Tedeschi Trucks Band will once again hit the Beacon stage on Monday, October 3rd for the 50th total time in the band’s history. Another Thursday–Saturday run on October 6th, 7th, and 8th will finally bring the engagement to a close.
The band recently completed the ambitious release cycle for I Am The Moon, a four-part audiovisual undertaking inspired by both Layla and Majnun, a 12th-century Persian epic poem chronicling two star-crossed lovers, and modern feelings of isolation brought on by the pandemic. Bruce Hampton introduced them to Pasaquan, the artistic home base of eccentric folk artist Eddie Owens Martin (f.k.a. St. EOM), which serves as the visual focal point of the I Am The Moon films and gives its name to one of the songs on the album.
