Yonder Mountain String Band announced details of their 2023 Winter Tour dates. The jamgrass act will start the year with shows on both coasts and many cities in between over the course of a run spanning January 6 – March 25.
YMSB recently parted ways with fiddler Allie Kral. Jake Simpson was the first in a series of special guests that will join the group over the remainder of 2022.
The Cabin Fever Tour 2023 begins with a two-night stand at Off Broadway in St. Louis on January 6 and 7. Yonder then heads to their home state of Colorado for shows at venues to be announced in Denver on January 13 and Steamboat Springs on January 14 before a play at Frisco’s 10 Mile Music Hall on January 15. The band ends the month out west with concerts in Solana Beach, California on January 20; Tempe, Arizona on January 21 and Berkeley, California on January 27 and 28.
The extensive trek resumes after a few days off in Whitestown, Indiana on February 2 ahead of two-night runs in Evanston, Illinois on February 3 and 4 and Asheville on February 10 and 11. From there, Yonder Mountain String Band hits Ardmore, Pennsylvania on February 17 and Charleston, South Carolina on March 3 and 4 before settling in for four nights at Park City, Utah’s Egyptian Theatre March 9 – 12. Another two-night stand follows in Vienna, Virginia on March 17 and 18 ahead of tour-closing shows in Seattle on March 24 and Portland on March 25.
