Dead & Company detailed 2023 tour dates for “The Final Tour.” The Grateful Dead offshoot previously announced that the 2023 summer excursion would be their last tour and have now mapped out dates and cities.
The band featuring guitarists Bob Weir and John Mayer, drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, bassist Oteil Burbridge and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti first took the stage together in October of 2015. “The Final Tour” comes after Dead & Company presents their Playing In The Sand 2023 destination event in Rivera Cancún, Mexico on January 14 – 17.
The trek starts with a two-night stand at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles on May 19 and 20. Dead & Co. then hits Phoenix on May 23, Dallas on May 26 and Atlanta on May 28 before ending the month in Charlotte on May 30.
June will be a busy month for the sextet that begins with a concert in Raleigh, North Carolina on the 1st. From there, the group heads to Bristow, Virginia (June 3); Burgettstown, Pennsylvania (June 5); St. Louis (June 7); Chicago (June 9 and 10); Cincinnati (June 13); Philadelphia (June 15); Saratoga Springs, New York (June 17 and 18); New York City (June 21 and 22); Boston (June 25) and Noblesville, Indiana (June 27).
Dead & Company continues the excursion with their return to Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado for shows on July 1, 2 and 3. It’s then off to The Gorge in Washington state on July 7 and 8. Fittingly, the tour ends in San Francisco, the city that birthed the Grateful Dead. Oracle Park will host the finales on July 14 and 15.
