Death Cab for Cutie added May and June 2023 tour dates in North America to their Asphalt Meadows Tour promoting the album of the same name released in September. Ben Gibbard and company also tacked on a February concert in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The quintet will play Knoxville’s The Mill & Mine on February 13 as part of a winter trek across the U.S. Death Cab will embark on a run through Europe and the U.K. in March and then starts the spring North American leg with Lomelda as support at Indianapolis’ TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park on May 31 as well as a number of other shows on the run. A trip to Toronto for gigs at Massey Hall on June 2 and 3 follows.
Death Cab For Cutie continues the excursion in Cleveland on June 4. Stops in Milwaukee on June 6, Omaha on June 7 and Bonner (Montana) on June 10 come next. The Bellingham, Washington-birthed band returns to Canada for shows in Calgary on June 12 and Vancouver on June 14 and 15. The trek is currently slated to end in Oregon with concerts in Troutdale on June 16 and Bend on June 17.
