Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a multi-city run in January 2023. The brief tour starts with a performance at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on January 26, 2023 and concludes with a three-night stand at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York between January 27 and 29, 2023.
The band featuring namesake drummer Joe Russo, guitarists Tom Hamilton and Scott Metzger, keyboardist Marco Benevento and bassist Dave Dreiwitz made their debut with what was supposed to be a one-time gig at Brooklyn Bowl on January 26, 2013. After that magical evening, the Grateful Dead tribute act regrouped that December for their Capitol Theatre debut and went on to play 274 additional shows through a performance this past Saturday in Montclair, New Jersey.

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Welcomes Stuart Bogie In Boston
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead returns to the venue where it all started on January 26, 2023 10 years to the day from their premiere performance. The quintet last took the stage together at Brooklyn Bowl on November 25, 2019 for the Make Democracy RAD Again benefit concert at the venue. JRAD haven’t performed at The Capitol Theatre since an October 2020 run of livestream concerts. The January 2023 shows will mark the group’s 21st, 22nd and 23rd concerts in front of in-person audiences at the Rock Palace.
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, October 7 at 10 a.m. ET. A series of presales will take place on Wednesday and Thursday with details laid out on JRAD’s Facebook page.
