Wet Leg was the musical guest on Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The appearance saw the band perform their single “Chaise Longue.”
Wet leg is helmed by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers. The English rockers from The Isle of Wight issued their debut album, Wet Leg, in April through Domino Records. “Chaise Longue” was issued as the lead single and quickly gained popularity. The song drew inspiration from a chaise longue that belonged to Chambers’ grandpa.
“I kind of inherited it and it now lives in my flat,” Chambers told Under The Radar. “When Rhian stays over it’s also where she sleeps. She actually wrote all the lyrics to ‘Chaise Longue’ whilst sitting on the chaise longue (all day long).”
