22

Dead & Company’s Playing In The Sand will also host performances from Goose, LP Giobbi and Tom Hamilton and MORE!. The sold-out destination event is set to take place at Moon Palace Cancún in Rivera Cancún, Mexico January 14 – 17, 2023.

Grateful Dead offshoot Dead & Company announced Playing In The Sand 2023 in August shortly before revealing that their 2023 summer excursion will be their final tour. The 2022 Playing In The Sand event, which featured LP Giobbi as part of the lineup, was canceled due to COVID-19.

Goose will return to Playing In The Sand after performing at the festival in 2020, this time offering two sets. Also slated to perform are LP Giobbi and More!, the latter featuring Tom Hamilton, Jim Hamilton, Tom McKee, Joe D’Amico and Scotty Zwang. Plus, Tom Hamilton will perform an acoustic set. Each act besides Goose will take part in the event’s pool party and late night offerings.

Dead & Company will play three full shows as part of the event. Click below for more info on Playing In The Sand 2023:
