Goose continues to expand their Summer 2023 schedule with another festival appearance. The Connecticut-based jam quintet will headline Resonance Music & Arts Festival 2023 – “The Last Dance” by performing a total of four sets over two nights at the event’s final installment which comes to Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, Ohio June 29 – July 1, 2023.
The latest 2023 festival play confirmed for Goose follows their recently announced headlining slot at next July’s FloydFest. With festival lineup announcement season in full swing, we’ll soon see what other events at which the group will perform.
Resonance 2022 was supposed to take place at Woodlands Nature Reserve in Charleston, South Carolina September 15 – 17. Organizers canceled the festival in August after local Dorchester County officials “indefinitely suspended all music based events at The Woodlands Nature Reserve.” Goose was among the acts on the lineup for what was scheduled to be the festival’s first event in Charleston.
Initially held at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio from 2014 through 2018, Resonance moved to Cooper’s Lake in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania in 2019 and took place at Masontown, West Virginia’s Marvin’s Mountaintop in 2021. “Between availability and logistic concerns, the only viable option is to come back home to Ohio,” wrote festival organizers in announcing the cancelation and next summer’s final Resonance festival.
