Goose will make their headlining debut at Port Chester, New York’s Capitol Theatre next March. The Connecticut-based jam quintet, currently on the road with Trey Anastasio Band, will settle in at the rock palace for a five-night stand spanning March 8 – 12, 2023.
Goose are no strangers to Port Chester, having played more than 10 shows at the Cap-adjacent Garcia’s between 2014 and 2016. However, the group has yet to perform at the famed venue since they’ve experienced massive growth of their fanbase and their current lineup solidified.
“We’re so excited for our first headlining shows at The Capitol Theatre!” noted multi-instrumentalist Peter Anspach. “All of us have seen countless shows there over the years, and it’s an honor to have the chance to take the stage there for five nights.”
Registration for a pre-sale ticket lottery is currently underway through Seated. Entries must be submitted by tomorrow (Wednesday, November 16) at 5 p.m. ET with winners to be notified shortly after registration ends. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, November 18 at 10 a.m. ET following a venue presale on Thursday, November 17. Score Goose Capitol Theatre tickets via Ticketmaster.
Goose will donate $1 from each ticket sold to Backline. “Supporting our friends at Backline is very important to us – they provide so many valuable resources for our colleagues in the industry,” Anspach added of the nonprofit organization that serves as a mental health resource for the music industry.
