Chris Thile was Norah Jones‘ guest on the latest episode of her Norah Jones Is Playing Along podcast. Among the songs Chris and Norah collaborated on was a cover of Radiohead’s “Videotape.”
In the recent episode of Norah Jones Is Playing Along, Thile and Jones discuss how Chris began playing mandolin when he was 5 years old, his early career in Nickel Creek and his more recent stint taking over long-running NPR program Prairie Home Companion which became known as Live from Here with Chris Thile and more.
Along with songs from Thile’s extensive catalog and a cover from singer-songwriter Judee Still, Chris and Norah treat listeners to a beautiful version of “Videotape” with Jones on piano and Thile on mandolin and vocals. “Videotape” is the closer on Radiohead’s 2007 album In Rainbows.
