UPDATE: Northlands Adds Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Daniel Donato, The Nth Power, More To 2023 Lineup

[UPDATE 1/6/23]: Northlands Music & Arts Festival has announced a number of additions to its 2023 artist lineup. The sophomore edition of the Swanzey, New Hampshire festival is due to take place on June 16th and June 17th, 2023.

New additions to the 2023 Northlands lineup include Pigeons Playing Ping PongDaniel Donato’s Cosmic CountryMihali & Friends, and The Nth Power featuring Jennifer Hartswick. The new additions join previously announced headliners The String Cheese Incident (two sets), Mike GordonTwiddle, and Orebolo. Other artists due to perform at the festival include Andy Frasco & The U.N.Kitchen DwellersNeighborDoom FlamingoDogs In A Pile, and Karina Rykman. The latest announcement also noted that 15+ “campground artists” will be added to the lineup next month.

Northlands Music & Arts Festival 2022 – Official Recap Video


[11/30/22]: Northlands Music & Arts Festival has announced the initial lineup for its return to Swanzey, NH on June 16th and June 17th, 2023. The second annual edition emerging festival from the same team behind the COVID-friendly Dive-In Live and Northlands concert series will be led by The String Cheese IncidentMike GordonTwiddle, and acoustic Goose offshoot Orebolo.

The initial lineup for Northlands 2023 also includes festival favorite Andy Frasco & The U.N. and bombastic brass and drum trio Too Many Zooz in addition to an assortment of fast-rising acts on the live music circuit including Kitchen DwellersNeighborDoom FlamingoDogs in a Pile, and Karina Rykman.

The second year of Northlands Music Festival capitalizes on the momentum from year one, which brought over 12,000 attendees to witness Joe Russo’s Almost DeadLotus, Twiddle, and many more. “After an amazing inaugural fest, 2023 planning has been in full swing for months. We’re excited to bring a bigger and better experience to Northlanders next year,” said Northlands co-founder Seth McNally. “The Northlands community continues to grow and we can’t wait to share the sweet vibe with more friends next year. All signs point North for an epic weekend; see you on the hill!”

Northlands Music Festival 2023 will see a number of upgrades including a new campground stage and silent disco that will keep campers dancing until sunrise. The camping experience will also benefit from an expanded footprint along with the addition of car camping and VIP camping areas. Per a commitment to ecological conservation, the festival will eliminate single-use plastics and “reduce its carbon footprint by introducing an industry-leading recycling program.”

Tier one weekend ticket sales begin on December 2nd at 12:00 p.m. ET. Single-day tickets will not be available until spring 2023, pending availability. The second wave of lineup additions will follow in early 2023, with a final lineup and campground stage schedule set to follow later in the winter months. This lineup announcement comes on the heels of Twiddle’s announcement that the band will go on indefinite hiatus in 2024 after 18 years on the road. The Vermont natives announced part one of their Distance Makes The Heart Tour, with Northlands serving as one of the band’s last festival sets for the foreseeable future.
