Section 119 Inks Licensing Deal With Phish

35

E-commerce apparel company and longtime JamBase partner Section 119 has signed a 3-year licensing deal with Phish. The partnership will produce “Direct to Consumer and “Wholesale offerings,” as per a press release.

Known for its music merchandise as a licensee of the Grateful Dead, David Bowie, Pink Floyd and The Beatles, Section 119’s new license with Phish includes use of the band’s iconic Donut logo across a variety of apparel lines like Men’s and Women’s Activewear, Causal Wear and Business Attire. Section 119 CEO Gregg Carey further detailed the deal:

Partnering with Phish is truly an honor and, frankly, a pinch-me moment. As a small company, we have seen over 800 Phish shows since 1992, so we know a bit about this band. This opportunity means something very special to us.

At Section 119, we are in service of the music that we all love and the community built around it. Our clothing gives fans yet another way to engage with and support their favorite artists. Phish drummer Jon Fishman’s donut dress has become an iconic image of this historic band and their onstage antics, unrivaled improvisation, and their unwavering gratitude for the community. We look forward to partnering with Phish to put this artwork to use and to create some unique and authentic clothing that fans will love.
