The Arcs shared a new single, “Heaven Is A Place.” The track is set for the Dan Auerbach-led group’s forthcoming album, Electrophonic Chronic, due out on January 27, 2023 via Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound label.
The Arcs announced Electrophonic Chronic in October and shared the single, “Keep On Dreamin.’” The record is the band’s first since 2015’s Yours, Dreamily and first since the death of Arcs member and renowned producer/musician Richard Swift. Largely recorded before Swift’s passing in 2018, Electrophonic Chronic contains contributions from Richard and “is all about honoring Swift,” Auerbach said.
The latest single, “Heaven Is A Place,” resonates with the band’s reflection on their departed bandmate. The track boasts keyboard work from Arcs’ Leon Michels as well as fuzz guitar from Auerbach.
