Watch Amos Lee Reimagine ‘Chet Baker Sings’ Tracks On ‘World Cafe’

Amos Lee delivered a performance for NPR’s World Cafe. The Philadelphia native offered songs from his new Chet Baker tribute album, My Ideal, for the Philly-based public radio program.

My Ideal arrived digitally on November 18 and sees Lee returning to his jazz roots, paying homage to one of his heroes in the genre. Amos drew inspiration for My Ideal from Chet Baker’s landmark 1954 album Chet Baker Sings. For his World Cafe performance, Lee included My Ideal’s title track, “I’ve Never Been In Love Before” and “Look For The Silver Lining.”
