Brian Eno premiered a video for his song “Garden Of Stars.” The track is off the acclaimed musician and visual artist’s 2022 album ForeverAndEverNoMore.
ForeverAndEverNoMore arrived on October 14 and marks Eno’s first solo album since 2017’s Reflection. The new record is also the first containing Eno’s own vocals since 2005’s Another Day On Earth. ForeverAndEverNoMore sees Eno reflecting on the climate crisis.
Brian previewed ForeverAndEverNoMore with the advance singles “There Were Bells” and “We Let It In” ahead of the album’s release. Eno worked with longtime collaborator and album artwork creator Nick Robertson to create the video for “Garden Of Stars.”
“The ‘Garden Of Stars’ video imagines the creation of stars as occurring in a garden where exotic new cross breeds of flowers are created and populate the heavens,” Robertson noted. “Each one a unique variation on a universal blueprint.”
Eno added, “imagine a being huge enough to have our universe as a plaything, and to watch in fascination as that universe is born, flourishes and finally snuffs itself out…or alternately divides into a million parallel selves.”
