Watch: Keller Williams & The Hillbenders Launch KellerGrass Project

Keller Williams is teaming up with bluegrass outfit The HillBenders to launch his latest project, KellerGrass. Keller shared a trio of performance videos to herald the team up.

Keller Williams and The Hillbenders have previously collaborated on the Tom Petty bluegrass tribute Petty Grass as well as on Keller’s Grateful Grass. The Hillbenders are also known for their grassy interpretations of music by rock legends The Who. In KellerGrass, The Hillbenders will help Williams on bluegrass versions of some of his most well-known tunes.

Describing the new project, Keller’s website noted, “KellerGrass is the marriage of psychedelic + traditional bluegrass between Keller and The Hillbenders as they take an abundance of liberties with Keller’s original songs.”

Williams also shared performance videos of KellerGrass on a trio of Keller classics: “Best Feeling,” “Freaker By The Speaker” and “Kidney In A Cooler.” Watch below:
