Rhythm & Sails will host one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive experiences mixing live music and sailing trips journeying through St. Vincent and The Grenadines starting in May of 2023. Two luxury-adventure experiences have been announced thus far with lineups including members of Greensky Bluegrass, The Infamous Stringdusters, Fruition and more.
A mere 10 cabins will be available for each extremely intimate experience. Both weeks will see attendees not only witness incredible live music but also take part in interactive sailing trips as well as on-shore activities, local interaction and much more. Rhythm & Sails just launched a new website with full details about the adventures. The May 2023 trips go on sale next Friday, December 9 at 12 p.m. MT.
The newly confirmed Rhythm & Sails experiences will take place May 4 – 10 and May 12 – 19, 2023. Anders Beck (Greensky Bluegrass), Jay Cobb Anderson (Fruition), Charlie Rose (Elephant Revival), Megan Letts (Mama Magnolia), Maggie Lincoln (Groundscore) and Mark Morris (Rapidgrass) will perform both weeks. Paul Hoffman (Greensky Bluegrass) will take part in the first week with Travis Book (The Infamous Stringdusters) aboard the second week.
“The whole trip is so surreal that it’s a bit hard to put into words,” noted Rhythm & Sails founder Ashley Hart. “You can look at the itinerary and think you know what you’re signing up for but people come back just blown away by the magnitude of the experience and the feeling they walk away with. You get this really unique team vibe down there when you’re all chipping in to run the boat together, going to amazing destinations, taking in live shows along the way and just being fully present. I really can’t think of anything better.”
GSBG dobroist Anders Beck has been selected to curate and serve as musical director for these experiences. “Because I’ve been on a few of these trips now, I know exactly what we’re getting into and I’m ridiculously excited to share these with more people,” explained Beck. “As I’ve told people point blank, I really wouldn’t be involved with Rhythm and Sails if I didn’t believe that these trips are absolutely life-changing.”
