Emily King shared a new single, “This Year.” The singer-songwriter shares the timely song on the heels of three Grammy nominations for her 2019 album Scenery and follow-up single “See Me”.
King co-wrote “This Year” with longtime collaborator and recording partner Jeremy Most. Most produced the track with mixing from Tom Elmhirst (Frank Ocean, Adele, Jamie XX).
“I wrote ‘This Year’ last New Year’s Eve after realizing I’d spent most of my time vying for the attention of someone who couldn’t love me back,” Emily said of the single.
