Led Zeppelin To Celebrate 15th Anniversary Of London Concert With Global Watch Party

19

Led Zeppelin commemorates the 15th anniversary of their 2007 performance at London’s O2 Arena by streaming the resulting Celebration Day concert film globally this Saturday, December 10 at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT. The concert documented in Celebration Day took place on December 10, 2007 as part of a tribute to Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun.

Founding members vocalist Robert Plant, multi-instrumentalist John Paul Jones and guitarist Jimmy Page took the stage together on December 10, 2007 for the first time in over 12 years. The trio recruited Jason Bonham, the son of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, to back them in London.

Despite rumors that seem to fly each year, Led Zeppelin has not performed since that memorable night at the O2 Arena. The Celebration Day live album and concert film came out in 2012.
