Rail Rider Jamboree has announced the artist lineup for its return to Ellicottville, NY’s Holiday Valley Ski Resort on March 18th, 2023. The festival, launched last year by the producers of Borderland Music + Arts Festival.
In addition to a two-set headlining performance by long-running Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra, the one-day event will feature the debut performance by GANTZER & Friends, a new project led by Aqueous guitarist/vocalist Mike Gantzer. Mike’s “Friends” for the set will be announced as the event approaches. The festival lineup also includes rising jam scene favorite Eggy, Buffalo’s Grub, NOLA-style brass outfit Buffalo Brass Machine, and a Bluegrass & Bloody’s session with Folkfaces. The Jamboree will take place outdoors with music starting around 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Ahead of the main event on Saturday, March 18th, Rail Rider Jamboree will kick off the weekend on Friday, March 17th at Holiday Valley with “rail jam” contests and live music at the base of the mountain at the Rail Park.
“I produced winter festivals on the west coast for 8 years, so it’s great to be able to bring this together at Holiday Valley in my backyard.” says Ginger Root Productions and Borderland Festival owner Jennifer Brazill. “I am really excited about merging music and mountains and curating a 1 day, boutique event… it’s always such a good time.”

In addition to the music, the event allows fans to enjoy all that Holiday Valley Ski Resort has to offer, from its various lodging options to its 60 ski slopes spread over four different faces with a 750-foot vertical drop and 13 lifts.
