Texas troubadour Charley Crockett played two sold-out shows with his band the Blue Drifters at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday and Sunday.
The two-night stand came as part of Crockett’s ongoing tour in support of his most recent album, The Man From Waco. The album was the prolific singer-songwriter’s fifth since 2020 and his second of the year following the fourth installment of his Lil G.L. Presents series, Jukebox Charley.
The Fonda Theatre run also arrived on the heels of Crockett’s late-night television debut. He and his band appeared as the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week, delivering a fit-for-TV performance of “I’m Just A Clown”, off The Man From Waco.

Crockett’s The Man From Waco tour continues this week with shows in Phoenix, Dallas, and Houston leading up to another two-night run on Friday and Saturday at ACL Live at Moody Theater in Austin. He will close out the year on December 30th in Durant, OK and then travel to Australia and New Zealand before returning stateside to join up with Tyler Childers.
